Pull up a seat and have some hot chocolate or coffee at The Hearth Cafe, a cozy little place that feels like home, where everyone is welcome. Meet Simone, a waitress who unexpectedly took over the role as manager after the last one died. After a few months, the owner, Krampus, decides to look into his investment during the holidays and pick a new manager. Once Krampus arrives it turns Simone’s world upside down with not only punishments, but rewards as well.

This story is a great holiday treat! I liked how Krampus could see through the walls Simone built over the years. There was a good amount of spice between Simone and Krampus. Not to mention unique worldbuilding. I loved the message about found family and the side characters too, I hope we get to see some of them in future installments. 

Overall, I recommend this book to any one who loves the holidays, cozy romance, found family trope, and monster romance.
